A company is considered commercialized when it has generated revenue, secured non-dilutive funding tied to commercialization, executed a licensing or strategic agreement, or entered a defined market with a validated customer base.
Funding Success Rate
The funding success rate represents the percentage of participating companies that successfully obtain capital after entering the SC Forge program.
De-Risked Capital
De-risked capital refers to funding secured after a company has completed SC Forge commercialization planning, validation, and execution milestones.
Return on Investment
Program ROI is calculated by comparing measurable economic outcomes generated by participating companies to the resources invested in supporting those companies.
Independent Verification
Where practical, outcome data is validated through public award databases, investment documentation, company reporting, customer contracts, and partner institution records.
